It was great to have Sammy run with Holly. If time allows would like to have them run again… There are many dogs we meet but not many behave better than your dogs.. great pack leadership, you guys

Best Regards,

IMGP0710I would like to thank Jonathan for all his efforts in training Toby.  After being chased and attacked by a large dog, I didn’t think he would ever feel comfortable around large dogs again.  Jonathan has been amazing in training Toby.  He is no longer apprehensive and nervous and now is happy and wags his tail when he sees another dog approaching. Thank you for all your care.

20130514_143932I have been working with Brenda for the past 8 years. I had a Goldendoodle puppy (Spike) then. I knew nothing about dogs and training them. Brenda worked with Spike and I. She was wonderful with my kids as well. She included them in the training so that we
could do this as a family. She helped train me as an owner on how to relate to our dog. She taught me how to connect with Spike so that he understood what was expected of him. Her training style makes so much sense. Throughout the years I have had Brenda work with us to keep us on track. Then came my Boxer puppy (Carter) a year ago!! I had Brenda come immediately to help train him from the beginning. She has been amazing with him. Whenever I have a question or concern she makes sure she gets back to me immediately with her suggestions.

Brenda and Jonathan take Spike and Carter out weekly for walks and training. Every week I see an improvement with Carter. The dogs have so much fun going out with them. Brenda and Jonathan always have a hilarious story to tell me when they get back. They take so much pride in what they do. They make sure each dog gets the exercise and social interaction that they need. I appreciate how they assess what each dog needs on any given day. Jonathan has been taking my dogs with Brenda for the past year. His kind, gentle and strong demeanor with the dogs is amazing. He is a pleasure to deal with. He has helped me as well in training Carter. I have really enjoyed working with him.

Brenda is dependable, kind and caring. She genuinely cares about the dogs. She makes it her business to really get to know and understand them. She has helped me with nutrition for each of my dogs as well as the many health issues that have come up. She is
my best resource! She always show’s up at the door with a smile and is pumped to take the dogs. Whether she is training my dogs or taking them out for a fun day I know they are in good hands.

IMGP0727-768x1024I cannot say enough good things about Brenda and Canine Nanny. Those who come to know her will quickly realize she is not simply a dog-trainer, but a compassionate friend to both owners and animals alike. I have come to depend on her exclusively for caring for dogs in my absence, and walking/training them on a regular basis, because no one does it better than or cares as much as she. Brenda is extremely attuned to and accommodating of her clients’ many needs, whether pertaining to their schedules, or the medical and dietary needs of her animals. She has excellent judgment as to when an animal is out of sorts, and will not relax in her concern until she knows the animal is feeling and acting as it ought to. I am always reassured knowing that my family’s dogs are under Brenda’s attentive care, where their welfare is of primary importance and issues will be noted and dealt with competently.

Brenda not only stands out from others in her decency and devotion to her clients and their. She possesses a unique understanding of animal behaviour that enables her to transcend a simple carrot-stick approach and to be singularly effective in her training. She establishes a rapport and a relationship with the animal. My rescue Airedale Terrier, Lucie Ramona, started off as insecure, preemptively aggressive around other animals, and extremely frenetic in the home and around visitors. Through regular sessions with Brenda and carefully orchestrated socialization, my dog has blossomed into a friendly and secure pet, one who is much more adaptable in new situations with other animals and can be walked easily and enjoyably. She has gone from an insecure dog, always on the offensive, to one who is relaxed, and much more comfortable both in and out of her element. The photos speak for themselves! It his hard to say whose life Brenda has enriched more: mine or Lucie’s.
